The Zánka Children and Youth Centre is situated on 209 hectares on the north shore of the Balaton, the biggest fresh water lake in Europe. The Centre is surrounded by many popular tourist attractions which are rich in natural beauty and are historically significant. The Centre lies on main road 71, between the villages of Balatonakali and Zánka in the Valley of the Csorsza spring.

The Youth Centre's customer base includes children, young people, parents, grandparents, private tourists and tourist groups. In fact, the Youth Centre is a great destination for anyone wanting to spend a happy weekend on the northern shore of the Balaton.

The Zánka Centre includes its own long beach at the Lake, which can accomodate around 12-13 thousand holiday-makers for sunbathing, water-sports, sailing, boat-trips or simply lying on the beach.

Catering Facilities include a 1000-person capacity central restaurant which offers meals three times a day. There are also fast-food restaurants such as the Pizzeria, Buffet, Kid's Burger, Fregatt Restaurant, and a bar and cafe.

You can have an unforgettable experience by taking a trip to one of the surrounding attractions, either by bike or by boat across Lake Balaton.

The Centre's sports and cultural facilities include sport halls, stadiums, open-air sport areas, tennis courts, volley-ball court and a football area on the beach. Moreover there is a theatre hall, cinema, art gallery and conference hall, as well as other facilities.
